Brampton shooting: Victim identified, suspect still at large

Police in Brampton have identified the victim of a fatal shooting that took place on Wednesday night.

Police received multiple calls around 7:30 p.m. about a person suffering from a gunshot wound on Drayton Avenue in Brampton.

Police arrived on scene and found a male victim with a fatal gunshot wound.

Police are looking for multiple suspects involved in the incident. No suspects have been arrested.

The victim’s name has not been released.

A 24-year-old Brampton man was also arrested in connection with the incident on Saturday, however, he has since been released pending further investigation.
